The Secret Behind our
Success
Being only the sixth distillery in Tennessee that produces
authentic Tennessee moonshine along with a wide range of other fine products,
we at Short Mountain Distillery are dedicated and committed to our state of the
art shine practices. All our products
are made from corn that is grown and stone milled on our own 300 acre family farm
located in Cannon County. Our unique processes,
enhance the taste and smell of our popular Tennessee shine and allow for the
production of shine, bourbon and other products that have fast become the
favorites of many a Moonshine lover from a variety of places around the world.

tour schedules have broadened the experiences of our many dedicated
followers. These spectacular cocktail classes have become widely
acknowledged and favored throughout the region by customers of nearly every

class has fast become one of the most exciting and in-demand events offered by
our distillery. The overall experience
and ‘classroom’ presentation provides all our visitors the opportunity to learn
about our local history and our exciting heritage of superb whiskey making.

acquaint our visitors with our unique farm practices and processes and share
with them our preservation processes as well. Our cocktail classes teach all
our visitors how to create and serve unique, fine tasting moonshine cocktails
